At Vilmate, we know how important it is to connect with like-minded people to achieve big and small goals. At the end of 2024, we took another step toward growth and contributing to the IT community. We are proud to announce that Vilmate is now a member of the IT Ukraine Association!
We are excited about the new opportunities membership brings and can’t wait to share our joy with you. Our COO, Hanna Kumbatova, and Brand Marketing Manager, Tanya Petrikeeva, attended the ITU General Meeting 2024 and shared their thoughts about the event.
Vilmate Joins the IT Ukraine Association
If you’re unfamiliar with the IT Ukraine Association, we encourage you to learn more about their work. This community includes 161 members united by common goals, such as:
- Protecting IT companies’ interests in taxation
- Running social and educational projects
- Offering legal and PR support
Vilmate, like many other IT companies, joined the association primarily because of its Government Relations (GR) initiatives. These initiatives allow companies to engage directly with the government. This collaboration helps remove barriers to business, create new opportunities, and minimize risks. Membership also ensures compliance with legal standards, which builds trust with clients.
For Vilmate, this is a chance to bring our ideas to a higher level and even contribute to drafting laws. But for us, the most valuable part is the opportunity to work with hundreds of like-minded professionals, opening up new paths for growth.
Vilmate’s First ITU Event
We were proud to be represented at the ITU General Meeting 2024 on December 5.
Offline events like these are incredibly valuable. They bring people out of the virtual world, making communication more personal and immediate. The insights shared by speakers also can inspire fresh ideas and new directions.
The event focused on summarizing the year’s achievements, welcoming new members, and announcing the election campaign results. We were impressed by the careful organization and well-planned schedule. The event brought together many association members; even small chats while waiting for coffee became valuable networking opportunities.
This event was a major milestone for us. It confirmed the importance of building connections with industry peers. We are proud to stand alongside some of the most respected companies in Ukraine and even globally.
The Vilmate team is confident that joining the IT Ukraine Association will help us grow as a company and contribute to the development of the IT industry. The association's collaborative environment will foster idea-sharing and support the creation of innovative projects that benefit society.
